My Dear Aubrey,
Your letters tell of the altered arrangements of your people.
I note that you hope to be in Perth a day or so before Xmas. You will, naturally, spend as much of your time as possible with them, but, I trust you will be able to give us a little of your company. I am expecting the Sister to be able to come here on Friday of this week, and I am also hoping that she will be able to spend a week, or even more, here. I am sure the change will be of benefit to her. If, therefore, you find you can tear yourself away from Perth for a change, I sincerely hope you will come up here for as long as you are able. I am sure the change will go you no harm, on the contrary you will be able to give us the benefit of your good company.
I trust this letter will reach you before you leave for Perth. In any case I send you the best of good wishes for the Festive Season. I wonder if you remember that the Xmas of 1898 was spent with your good people, together with the late Inspector Drewry of tender memory.
This is all I have time for now or I will miss the mail.
Ever sincerely yours
L Prince
