Dear Aubrey,
I received your welcome letter of a few months ago, and have been intending to drop you a line. My correspondence is mostly anything from twelve months to twelve years behind.
Glad that you had a good trip to Perth, and that you were having an enjoyable time meeting old friends. How do you like Perth [?]

We managed to get the shearing finished on the last Tiesday in September, and I did not [?] any [?] at [?] the end of it. It was a very long drawn out job, and the blowflys were very bad, which made a [?] of work owing to the slow rate of shearing.
