My Dear Murray,
My first Airgraph! Jim wrote you yesterday saying the Americans have taken over the {SRRC for their Red Cross and entertainments. They are spending about £2000 and should look pretty good, he has written in detail. We are all well. Adele has gone into a new class at school, and is very chilled with herself.
Mother, Margaret & Jean & perhaps Mrs Polley are coming here for lunch tomorrow. Mother seems to be very please with her tenants, and it is certainly a weight off our minds knowing she is not alone. My fowls are doing very well, getting an average of 9 or 10 eggs a day, not bad. Might give mother 3 fowls for her birthday, there's not much else to get. Love, Adele.
