We regret that several of the items required are not procurable; Margarine can only be supplied in Bulk, it is not yet packed in tins in this state, the smallest tin available being a Kerosene tin. We could not find any importer who knows Haggis or Maggis Soup, the brand is not known, also Edwards Dessicated Soup and English Red Currant Jam are unobtainable. Turkish Figs are out of stock, the new seasons fruit is expected in about a fortnight. Italian Macaroni and Vermicelli is not now procurable, we have sent the local instead.
