Mrs H.M. Wilson,

SWANBOURNE, W. A. 6010.

Dear Mrs Wilson,

I visited Dampier in June this year apparently not very far behind you as some of the people I spoke to mentioned your name. I also noticed your signature in Harold Ronald's visiting book not far above my own. While in Dampier I visited some sites in the Archipelago being particularly interested in the remains of some stone huts on West Lewis Island which I Suspect were part of a station run, I haven't got very far with research into this possibility but I thought you might be interested in the enclosed copy of a letter which I received from the Under Secretary for Lands. This mentions leases in the Archipelago held by Harold A. Hall and also by Henry Ernest Hall. It is probable that you already know of these, but on the other hand just in case you haven't come across this reference to your family I thought it would be of interest to you.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,

David H.
D.E. HUTCHISON,
Curator of History.
