To the Mayoress of Cossack
Dear Madam
The accompanying circular will give you some details of the Exhibition of Women's Work for All Australia, which it is proposed to hold in Melbourne next year.
I am most anxious that Western Australia should be well represented at the exhibition, & I write to ask you if you will be so kind as to undertake the task of forming a local committee of the principal representative ladies in your town,
asking them to interest themselves & to do all in their power to interest others in sending [?] & competing for prizes in every kind of women's work at the forthcoming exhibition.
I am sending at the same time half a dozen [?] circulars for you to distribute, more copies can be forwarded if required, & further particulars connected with this work can be obtained
on applying by letter to
The Secretary

Hoping for your kind cooperation, believe me sincerely,
